Welcome to Tony Cars. By using our website and booking services, you agree to follow and adhere to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding. If you disagree with these terms, kindly refrain from using our services.

1. General Terms

1.1 These Terms and Conditions outline the rules for using Tony Cars’ website and booking our minicab and airport transfer services.
1.2 Tony Cars provides professional, reliable, and timely services to all customers.
1.3 We update these Terms and Conditions periodically, so we encourage you to review them regularly to stay informed.

2. Bookings

2.1 You can book our services through our website, mobile app, or customer service team.
2.2 When you make a booking, provide accurate information, including:

  • The full pickup address
  • The destination address
  • Your contact details (name, email, and mobile number)
  • Flight details and the preferred meeting time after the flight’s landing (for airport transfers)

2.3 After completing your booking, we send a confirmation via email or text message. Review this confirmation carefully and notify us immediately if there are any errors.
2.4 We accept last-minute bookings, but their availability depends on scheduling and may involve additional charges.

3. Payment Terms

3.1 You can pay using a credit or debit card through a payment link or directly in cash to the driver.
3.2 To avoid a late fee of £5 per day, complete your payment by the end of the journey. Additionally, we provide digital travel receipts upon request.
3.3 If you prepay for your booking, we issue refunds according to our cancellation policy (see Section 5).

4. Pricing

4.1 All prices appear in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.
4.2 The price reflects the details you provide at the time of booking. Changes to the journey, such as additional stops or route adjustments, may increase the cost.
4.3 Occasionally, unforeseen factors like airport surcharges or tolls can affect pricing.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

5.1 Cancel your booking at least 2 hours before the scheduled pickup time to receive a full refund.
5.2 However, cancellations made less than 2 hours before the pickup time, or instances of no-shows, do not qualify for a refund. In such cases, we charge the full fare.
5.3 Refunds typically reach you within 7–10 business days.

6. Passenger Responsibilities

6.1 Arrive at the agreed pickup location on time to avoid waiting time fees.
6.2 Take responsibility for your belongings, as Tony Cars cannot replace or reimburse lost or damaged items. Double-check your items before leaving the vehicle.
6.3 Follow the driver’s instructions and adhere to safety regulations, including wearing seat belts throughout the journey.
6.4 Avoid the following actions while inside the vehicle:

  • Smoking, eating, or drinking (except water)
  • Engaging in abusive or threatening behavior

7. Driver Responsibilities

7.1 Every Tony Cars driver holds the required licenses and insurance and completes professional training to deliver high-quality service.
7.2 Drivers arrive at the pickup location on time. If unavoidable delays occur, they notify you as soon as possible.
7.3 Drivers choose the most efficient route unless you request a specific one.

8. Waiting Time Policy

8.1 Non-Airport Pickups:

  • You receive a complimentary waiting time of 10 minutes from the scheduled pickup time.
  • After 10 minutes, we charge waiting time at £22 per hour, equivalent to £5.50 for every 15 minutes.

8.2 Airport Pickups:

  • Your complimentary waiting time begins at your selected meeting time after the flight’s landing, with the first 30 minutes free.
  • After 30 minutes, we charge £7.50 for each subsequent 30-minute period.

9. Airport Transfers

9.1 Provide accurate flight details when booking an airport transfer to avoid any service issues.
9.2 Tony Cars actively monitors flight arrivals to ensure timely pickups. However, you must inform us about any flight cancellations or significant delays.
9.3 Notify us in advance if you carry excessive luggage or non-standard items to avoid additional charges.

9.4 Tony Cars recommends arriving at the airport at least 3 hours before your flight’s departure.

10. Liability

10.1 Tony Cars is not responsible for delays caused by external factors such as traffic, weather, inaccurately calculated travel times during booking, or road closures.
10.2 If your vehicle breaks down during the journey, we arrange for a replacement as quickly as possible and update you throughout the process.
10.3 Our liability is limited to the fare you paid for the journey.

11. Complaints

11.1 Report complaints within 24 hours of completing your journey for prompt resolution.
11.2 Submit complaints via email, and include detailed information about your concern.
11.3 We aim to resolve complaints within 7 working days. If more time is necessary, we keep you informed of our progress.

12. Privacy Policy

12.1 Tony Cars collects and processes your data according to our Privacy Policy.
12.2 We do not share your information with third parties unless required for providing our services or by law. Refer to our “Privacy Policy” section for more details.

13. Governing Law

13.1 These Terms and Conditions comply with the laws of England and Wales.
13.2 Any disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in England and Wales.

14. Telephone Calls

14.1 We may record calls to verify content, improve quality, or resolve complaints. Additionally, we use call recordings for compliance, staff training, and detecting criminal activity.
